About JukeHouse
JukeHouse is a music publishing administrator. We register songs with collection societies around the world, chase the royalties those songs earn, and pay them out. Writers keep their copyrights, and on the Pro plan they keep 100% of the money as well.
What we do
A song earns money in more places than most writers can track. Streams generate mechanical and performance royalties. Radio, television, live venues and shops generate performance royalties. Films, adverts and games pay sync fees. Each of those streams is collected by a different society in each country, and every one of them wants the song registered with the right writer shares before it pays anyone.
JukeHouse does that registration work directly, society by society, rather than passing it down a chain of sub-publishers. We match the money that comes back to the song and the writer it belongs to, and we publish the statement that shows the working.
How we are paid
A publishing deal usually takes a cut of the song itself, sometimes for decades. We never take a share of the copyright. There are two ways to pay for the work instead: the Standard plan costs nothing to start and takes a 5% share of the revenue collected, and the Pro plan costs $100 a year and takes none of it. Larger catalogues that need sub-publishing, a white-labelled portal or API access are priced case by case.
What we are not
We are not a distributor. We do not put recordings on Spotify or Apple Music, and we do not collect on the recording copyright. We work on the publishing side — the song itself, and the money the song earns.
